- The chase. The stage where you get to know the person & grow to love them. You talk to them constantly & text them. They’re usually the last person you talk to before you go to bed. You wake up to goodmorning texts from them & they’re on your mind throughout the day. As you…

I can’t wait until I leave Reno.
Get over it. The world doesn’t revolve around you.
Who remembers this show? :)
"Sir Duke" by Stevie Wonder
“Sir Duke” by Stevie Wonder (from Songs in the Key of Life, Motown 1976)
This song always plays in my head whenever I think about my childhood. Those were truly the golden days. ♥
I find it so freakin’ sad how some people can be so judgmental. How you can gain so much more attention if you wear hollister instead of walmart. How you can get more people talking to you if you have make up done and you fix your hair. Why was society built like this? They implant this picture to out heads that only the beautiful people are worthy acknowledging. No one gives a fuck about the smartest person in class but the slut who shows the most skin. They care about the slut who slept with the most guys and how much cleavage she’s showing that day. Instead of the genius and their success. You make me sick present time.
Nujabes’ Last Beat he was working on.
Some background on Nujabes. He was owner of the Shibuya record stores, T Records and Guinness Records and founder of the independent label Hydeout Productions.
He’s collaboed with the famous Japanese artists such as Uyama Hiroto, Shing02 which we are all familiar with the Luv Sic tracks, and lastly Minmi. In addition, he has also collaborated with the underground American Hip-Hop artists CYNE, Cise Starr(solo artist apart from CYNE), Apani B, Five Deez, Substantial, CL Smooth, Terry Callier, and also the British rapper Funky DL who I have to say is one of my favorites.
Jun Seba was on of the most prolific contributors to the background music and soundtracks of the Anime show Samurai Champloo, if anyone remembers, which was an anime that blended fuedal Japan settings with modern anachronisms, especially in regards to hip hop culture.Lastly to say, this track, that he left unfinished, is amazing. Just like how Samurai Champloo ended, it makes you imagine how this track would have been if it was continued to be completed. Honestly, I couldn’t help but tear just a little to how beautiful this beat sounded.
Hip hop never died..it was just buried alive
